How to read this file

Office & Ties shows 633 officials and 17,703 ties from a public compilation dated November 5, 2026. It is not a finding of wrongdoing.

Uncalled races

A race is uncalled only when race_called is exactly no. Values that start with yes, including a note about which desk called the race, are called. This file’s uncalled races are Jake Johnson (MN-1), Kristina Knickerbocker (OH-10), Victoria Broderick (TN-4), and Shannon Taylor (VA-1). Those four profiles are not presented as winners. Vote totals everywhere are unofficial until certification.

Ties

Each tie has a relationship, an amount when one was recorded, a date when one was recorded, and an evidence flag. Reported ties (17,297) are drawn as solid lines. Inferred ties (406) are dashed. An orbit shows one official’s ties, not all 17,703 at once. A shared name between two officials is not proof they met, coordinated, or influenced each other.

Sources

Records are described in generic terms: public filings, election returns, Wikipedia, or a news report. The downloadable CSVs are the public export. The pages do not name private data aggregators.

Federal Election Commission supplements

Serving profiles are supplemented with office-specific 2025–26 candidate summaries, current-cycle campaign/leadership committee links, itemized individual contribution records, candidate-linked federal-committee contributions. Raised figures subtract transfers from authorized committees from total receipts. Shares use that denominator; they do not sum to 100%. Selected contribution aggregates are not exhaustive. Empty donor rows mean no unambiguous underlying match, not no donors. Raw address, ZIP, employer, and occupation fields in bulk filings are not republished here. The original 92-person pack and FL-20 / TX-23 vacancies remain unchanged. Primary filing and bulk-record field references are at the FEC.

Trading on America

The hottest-stock table considers buy/sell rows with transaction dates from January 1 through November 5, 2026. Ticker-bearing individual-company ordinary/common stocks are ranked by line count; midpoint dollars break ties followed by member count. Midpoints are arithmetic range assumptions and sum buys/sells rather than netting them. Options, ETFs, trusts, mutual funds and exchange-only rows are excluded by explicit asset-name matching. Match the linked Clerk/eFD disclosure to judge an asset and filer context. Coverage is incomplete. Extraction is not a claim of an official whole-Congress trade ledger.

The YTD estimate is only a synthetic disclosed-trade model, not the actual performance of a member, household, or portfolio, because true share counts, exact execution prices, all opening holdings, dividends, costs, and taxes are not known. Stock transactions are converted at disclosed midpoints and available split-adjusted daily market closes; a member is omitted if their disclosure set lacks a qualifying purchase or any required stock price, rather than assuming zero. Hypothetical cash is set to the combined estimated 2026 buy midpoints; buys acquire synthetic shares at transaction-date closes, and sales draw down only 2026 modeled shares. The same dated buy/sell dollar flows are mirrored in the S&P 500 price index; any sale beyond modeled lots is excluded rather than assuming undisclosed opening shares. Ending cash plus remaining marked shares is divided by the modeled buy budget. This is not a true investment return. This conservative implementation only covers a small subset of known stock filers; it cannot identify who in Congress really did best. A comparison is not a wrongdoing or causality claim.

Sponsorship

The labeled Sponsored slots are first-party placeholders. This preview does not load an ad network, set an ad cookie, or sell political, candidate, or advocacy inventory. A future outbound sponsor link, if Marshall approves one, will use rel="sponsored". Sponsorship would not be an endorsement of a candidate in the file.

Map

State shapes are simplified public boundaries for orientation. House districts are listed by the district number in the file. They are not drawn as polygons.

Watch

The Watch list is not part of the 92. An indictment on that list is a set of allegations. People named there are presumed innocent. Donor overlap is not coordination, and a shared name is not proof. Those pages do not change the roster, the map, or the headline counts.

What this preview leaves out

The custom domain is not connected. PDF dossier binaries are not uploaded yet; each profile links a printable summary and shows the pdfs/<slug>/ path the file should use. Paths between two officials, a 92-by-92 matrix, and guided question pages are not in this preview.
